Full Moon Luminance - Believe it or not this was taken well after sunset
Crazy full moon on the 19 March 2011
The moon was the closest it has been to the Earth in 18 years, making it 14% larger and 30% brighter than when the full Moon is furthest away.
The luminance of the moon was so great that even though this shot was taken at 11pm (sun set at 7.30pm) the sky is blue and the colour is in the landscape with shadows playing on the hills
If you look close enough you can see a few small star trails in the sky
Enjoy!

Mean shot! Cloud have easily been mistaken for a day shot. In terms of shapes it looks kind of similar to Moke Lake near Queenstown but with more bush Awesome
Thanks! yeah was a great full moon. Have a few others from the same night that over exposed the sky, but the land has crazy detail, looks like it was shot midday!
